What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I need to understand where the student is at...mentally and physically with their game. How long have they been playing? Do they want a from me? A simple golf tip or thought or an overhaul of their complete game.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a United States Golf Teachers Federation member since 1993. I passed a 36-hole players/written test equal to the PGA. I played college golf in California before turning pro.

How did you get started teaching?
I started playing when I was seven years old. I had lessons from different golf teachers growing up and enjoyed the process. I started studying all the great players and teachers from the past and present.
I played college golf and became more interested in helping others than working on my own game. A great teacher thinks about his pupil's game more than his own.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I have a set of custom drills that must be incorporated into the lessons. You will understand and develop very quickly with the exercises. If you are ready to become a player, you must put in the work. If not, money and time will be well-spent.
