About

I am a PGA Teaching Professional and member of the North Texas PGA of America. I have held positions as the Director of Instruction, Head PGA Golf Professional, PGA Tournament Director in Colorado and Las Vegas prior to relocating to Texas in 2018. I am a former Head Golf Coach for the men's and ladie's programs at the University of Denver.

Gary teaches out of The Revere Golf Club in Henderson, NV. He currently provides instruction to students of all ages and abilities. Please contact him via email or phone for information about lesson availability, specialized instruction, clinics and playing lessons.

I enjoy seeing the progress my students make and their improvement on the golf course.

For me, it's about the development of my student's skills ... not the time or the money involved.

Great instructor. Garys methods and teaching abilities are excellent. He explains why things happen during the swing and what causes them. I like his approach to golf that everyone is different and each golf swing is unique. He has helped me immensely and I will continue to take lessons with him

Frequently asked questions

I always start with the basics. A careful evaluation of the stance, grip, posture and especially the swing tempo. Any poor (or bad) habits will be identified and discussed with the student.

The next step is to address any problem areas in the swing, stance, grip, ball position etc. At this point in time the student will begin the process of developing his/her potential and a swing that "fits" the student.

A good swing always begins with a solid foundation.

Teaching and coaching golf for over 30 years. Have taught students of all ages and abilities for many years including high school and collegiate teams .

Standard pricing is $45.00 - $50.00 per 30 minute lesson.

A series of 3 lessons is $120.00

A series of 5 lessons is $200.00

However, lessons are usually more than 30 minutes as I want the student to capture the lesson material and be comfortable in practicing the items we worked on that day. There is no extra charge for going over the 30 minutes.

I coached my son's high school golf team.

I have instructed students of all ages and abilities. Provided individual lessons for men, women, juniors and seniors.

Have coached college men's and ladies teams competing in NCAA Division 2 programs.

I ran a group clinic in St. George, Utah for a corporate client. There were 6 students with varying handicaps from 10 to 22. After the 3 day clinic, everyone of the participants had improved a minimum of 3 shots per round with one individual shooting 6 shots under his handicap.

Look for a patient instructor who will teach you at your pace. Not just someone who is teaching for the money. The students improvement and progress is far more important.

Where their abilities are now and what level do they want to attain ie. Recreational player, social player. high school or collegiate team member, tournament competitor etc.

What are the individual goals and how much time and effort is involved in reaching them?
