What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I interview the student and according to his/her needs we stablish the sessions and the price for each session. I provide online tutoring and i request to be paid half in advanced.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Major in English teaching, and a Master´s degree in Distance Education, I have certifications for ESL teaching from Cambridge University and Spanish teaching from Universidad Autónoma de México.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I was 22 years old, I started teaching at a Language school. Since then I have taught at college level, High school level and online teaching. nowadyas I provide Spanish training and English to employees of 3 different companies in the Metroplex.

All types, kids, adolescents, adults.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love traveling and recently I spent the holidyas in Acapulco; México.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To check the teacher´s credentials. It is not enough to be a native speaker or to master the language that is being taught, it is necessary to have some king of teacher training, in order to know how to teach depending on the needs of the students. So knowing the teaching methodology is a must.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If they want to learn a language it is very important to know why they need to learn it to. If it is just to pass an exam, or to be able to coumnicate at a basic level when traveling or to be proficient at work. They need to be clear why they need to learn a language.
