Hi! My name is Annie and I grew up playing and developing a love for volleyball. I personally played middle and right side but was able to float wherever needed. I was awarded two awards from TAPPS for blocking and hitting in 2021 and one in 2020 for my blocking as well. As a coach, I focus on building a foundation of trust and openness so that I can get to know the player's strengths and weaknesses on the court and in their spirit. My main focus is creating an understanding that volleyball is just as much a mental game than physical.

I played volleyball in my country El Salvador where I won multiple national championships in the second and first divisions with my town team (Santa Ana) then. In 2007, I earned my degree in physical education, allowing me to become a teacher and participate in a scholarship in Sant Cugat, Barcelona. This scholarship focused on the science applied to sports. In addition, in 2013, I received another scholarship to complete the specialization in high-performance volleyball At Leipzig University in Germany.
