About this pro

Been playing golf for over 40 years w/ a single digit handicap and I understand the mechanics of the golf swing to help amateurs achieve their goals. I work with single digit handicap to beginners.

Have played in US Open Qualifiers and enjoy teaching the game to those who want to have an enjoyable golf experience. I've been teaching since last decade where students learn to get better at their own pace. Hit 'em straight, long and learn the game to lower scores.

I love teaching students to understand the knowledge of basic techniques of grip, stance, weight shift, backswing and downswing. I make sure my students understand where they are and where they need to be in all aspects of the game, especially their swing mechanics. It's a game you can play for the good part of your life. Golf is a work in progress that takes time and commitment, but can be extremely rewarding.

Bill is a phenomenal instructor. He is very knowledgeable of the game, and very thorough and patient with his teaching approach. I had been struggling with making contact with my irons, alignment, and slicing my drives. After taking one look at my swing he made adjustments to my grip and stance that made an immediate difference. I've done a few lessons now with Bill and never felt rushed, or feel like he's in a rush to leave right after an hour. I was skeptical about paying for lessons, and have completely had my mind changed. He doesn't hit you with the 20 lesson plan to put money in his pocket, but rather takes a look at your swing, takes down your goals and offers to work with you as much or as little as you want. His goal to ensure you can self correct on the course through his teachings. Plan on getting lessons regularly to improve my game. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Can relate to you very well. Understands any issue you may be having with your mechanics, from grip all the way to swing & finish. Will have you swinging better and improving your confidence within 1 to 2 lessons.

Bill took me from barely hitting a ball to hitting far distances consistently in a matter of a few lessons. He makes it easy to understand golf and is a fantastic coach as well as person.

Understands your swing and works with what will be best for YOU. He doesn’t teach a cookie cutter method, it’s individualized and will help you with what you need. He wants you playing better after your first lesson. Very good instructor!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I ask their experience w/ the game of golf and then their individual goals. Everyone is different in the knowledge and experience. I can very quickly analyze their swing and make changes for immediate effect.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Many years of mostly self taught getting to a low single digit handicap.

How did you get started teaching?

I was asked last decade to start teaching since I played many rounds and have a practical approach to the game. During this relationship w/, I have learned that my teaching techniques are simply communicated and understood by my students.

It gives me great joy to see this progress and to hear from my students their successes on the range and on the course after our sessions.

What types of students have you worked with?

From beginners to low handicap players.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for someone who has passion for the game of golf.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Depends on where one is w/ their game. That's why I want students to tell me their experience and goals.
