About
Been playing golf for over 40 years w/ a single digit handicap and I understand the mechanics of the golf swing to help amateurs achieve their goals. I work with single digit handicap to beginners.
Have played in US Open Qualifiers and enjoy teaching the game to those who want to have an enjoyable golf experience. I've been teaching since last decade where students learn to get better at their own pace. Hit 'em straight, long and learn the game to lower scores. My goal is to teach students a simple, repeatable golf swing.
I love teaching students to understand the knowledge of basic techniques of grip, stance, weight shift, backswing and downswing. I make sure my students understand where they are and where they need to be in all aspects of the game, especially their swing mechanics. It's a game you can play for the good part of your life. Golf is a work in progress that takes time and commitment, but can be extremely rewarding.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask their experience w/ the game of golf and then their individual goals. Everyone is different in the knowledge and experience. I can very quickly analyze their swing and make changes for immediate effect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many years of mostly self taught getting to a low single digit handicap.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
How did you get started teaching?
I was asked last decade to start teaching since I played many rounds and have a practical approach to the game. During this relationship w/ Lessons.com, I have learned that my teaching techniques are simply communicated and understood by my students.
It gives me great joy to see this progress and to hear from my students their successes on the range and on the course after our sessions.
What types of students have you worked with?
From beginners to low handicap players.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who has passion for the game of golf and can explain the instruction in a simple manner for understanding.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Depends on where one is w/ their game. That's why I want students to tell me their experience and goals.
