Been playing golf for over 40 years w/ a single digit handicap and I understand the mechanics of the golf swing to help amateurs achieve their goals. I work with single digit handicap to beginners.
Have played in US Open Qualifiers and enjoy teaching the game to those who want to have an enjoyable golf experience. I've been teaching since last decade where students learn to get better at their own pace. Hit 'em straight, long and learn the game to lower scores.
I love teaching students to understand the knowledge of basic techniques of grip, stance, backswing and downswing. I make sure my students understand where they are and where they need to be in all aspects of the game, especially their swing mechanics. It's a game you can play for the good part of your life. Golf is a work in progress that takes time and commitment, but can be extremely rewarding.
We were able to practice and get feedback on every single club in the bag. The new grip alignment along with other minor alterations improved my striking and distance on my irons. Now I'm excited to see what Bill has up his sleeve for the continued future lessons.
Bill did an excellent job of covering all the fundamentals of the game in a short hour lesson. By the end, we had worked through all the basics and I was hitting balls like I’d never hit before. The best part is that it didn’t even feel like a lesson. It felt very casual. This was my first lesson ever and I’d recommend Bill to anyone looking to improve their game.
From the first message to throughout the lesson Bill was absolutely professional. I was amazed that within 10 minutes from the start of the lesson I was striking the ball much better and it got better from there. Bill has a great style to teaching that I really liked. I will definitely hire him for some more lessons soon. Thanks again!!
I ask their experience w/ the game of golf and then their individual goals. Everyone is different in the knowledge and experience. I can very quickly analyze their swing and make changes for immediate effect.
Many years of mostly self taught getting to a low single digit handicap.
I was asked last decade to start teaching since I played many rounds and have a practical approach to the game. During this relationship w/ Lessons.com, I have learned that my teaching techniques are simply communicated and understood by my students.
It gives me great joy to see this progress and to hear from my students their successes on the range and on the course after our sessions.
Look for someone who has passion for the game of golf.
Depends on where one is w/ their game. That's why I want students to tell me their experience and goals.
