About
We teach private ballroom dancing lessons! Some of the styles of dances that we teach include (but are not limited to) latin, ballroom, country western, and swing dancing. We pride ourselves in taking people with little to no dance experience and helping them transform into comfortable and confident dancers. Fred Astaire created this franchise 70 years ago in 1947 and this Memorial location is the longest running Fred Astaire Studio in Texas. The atmosphere of our studio is very warm and welcoming as are the staff and students. Our team of teachers work very hard to ensure that our students' lessons always remain fun and stress free, because thats exactly how dancing should be!
We enjoy enriching peoples' lives through dance! Dancing can do so much for those who let it and we love watching it transform our students and bring joy to their life. :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with the basics and then layer technique on top of that. We use the system that Fred Astaire established 70 years ago and it helps us to carry on his legacy and continue to create wonderful dancers today!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our teachers are extensively trained. We use team teaching, so every teacher is qualified to teach every student.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our introductory program (which is the first program for every student who begins to dance with us) is $35 and it includes two 30 minute private lessons. These lessons are used to introduce the 4 basic elements. We then use those element to create a variety of partnership dances throughout the remainder of those lessons. At the end of the program, after seeing what type of learner the student is and observing their absorption and retention rates, the instructor will be able to suggest a personalized program for the student to continue forward with. Our instructors main goal is to keep dancing as fun and carefree as possible for every student as they grow and develope their skills!
What types of students have you worked with?
We have students from every walk of life. Dancing is for everyone at every age. Many doctors also suggest it to prevent dementia and many other health conditions. It's great for single people who want to open a door to new social scenes and develope a new social skill, as well as couples looking for a hobby to share together. Dancing has many benefits for each and everyone!
