About this pro

I am a well-rounded ballroom/social dance instructor. Being Dvida degreed and with 6 years of professional ballroom dance teaching experience, I am happy to teach you any dance of your choice.  I also know how to help you achieve your higher purpose for wanting to learn how to dance: for social interaction or a hobby, for fitness and health, to prepare for a special event--such as a wedding or gala--to experience the thrill of competition or the excitment of theatrical dancing, or to receive a choreography for a specific song of choice.

I work with my students in team and deliver customized, personalized instruction that best fits their needs and preferences, always staying relevant to their dancing goal.  Students learn at their own pace and comfort level.

Each student's folder is digital and can be emailed to them at their request.

I am also trained in body mechanics and technique, which allows your body to move with grace, efficiency, and inner harmony, so your movements come to feel natural and coordinated.

I am emotionally available to my students and listen to them.  What they tell me gives me instight into how I can adapt. my instruction to best meet their dancing needs.  Sometimes, they just want someone to share the joys and challenges of their life with.

Ballroom or partner dancing is not easy.  Through my support and encouragement along with my quality instruction and commitment to your dancing, you will feel encouraged as you progress at your pace and comfort level.

I have invested a lot of time and money into my own dancing and teaching credentials.  However, I feel good about offering my students a relatively more affordable rate.

Scheduling with me is easy: At your convenience first and my availability second.

You will always be valued and appreciated as a person by me.

What I enjoy most about teaching ballroom dancing is seeing my students feeling relaxed, comfortable, and focused in their lessons with me. It is important to me that my students have fun, grow in self-confidence, achieve their goal in a smooth and scheduled manner, and develop new skills and abilities.  The friendship and trust that develops between me and my students as we work together means the most to me.

Pari is an excellent instructor. She taught me Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, West Coast Swing, Salsa, Fox Trot, Waltz, Two Step, and more! Great fun to work with Pari. Personable, professional and a very skilled dancer. Made beginners very comfortable and want to come back for more

Such a kind and patient instructor. Pari breaks things down to small, manageble pieces to avoid feeling overwhelmed. I found it very helpful that she does a great job transitioning between the leader and follower. Learning as a couple, this was very helpful for us. Five stars!

Pari is a skillful dance instructor with excellent certification credentials and broad dance experience. She is a patient teacher who knows how to find the best way to guide each student for their unique learning needs. She cares for her students as individuals, not just as a filled slot on her schedule. You will find learning to dance with her guidance a wonderful experience. She is skilled in the entire spectrum of social dancing from ballroom to latin & blues club dancing to country-western. With Pari teaching, you will become a terrific dancer before you know it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Students start out with a 45 minute private lesson lesson to meet in person, to see the nice venue where I teach, and to start experiencing the joy and fulfillment of dancing in their lives.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My most related experience and credentials includes 6 years of of teaching as a professional ballroom dance instructor, 4 dance degrees accredited by Dvida, and 3 years experience as the Assistant Manager at a dance studio.

How did you get started teaching?

I grew up with an intense training in ballet, tap, and jazz and was passionately involved in music, choir, and theatrical arts.  After high school, I went on to college to achieve my B.A. degree in Psychology and my Masters Degree in Theology.  I spent over 12 years as an academic teacher.  In this career, as a ballroom dance instructor, my love for dancing, the fine arts, and caring for other people's emotional wellbeing combined into a perfect fit for the whole of me!  I can't wait to share all that I have to offer with you.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've been privileged to work with a great diversity of students for any variety of reasons:

All levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Goals: Hobby, Fitness, Social, Wedding, Showcase, Competition

Disabilities: Blind, arthritic

Ages: 18 and up
