What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All students are treated as first class individuals. Literally every single word in every single lesson will be personally chosen by you. The number one key to learning quickly is relevancy and we make sure that 100% of the content you receive is absolutely relevant to whatever goal you are trying to accomplish. Zero fluff. Big results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught Spanish speaker with native fluency. I taught bilingual students in the fifth grade for eight years. And I have taught oil field and medical professionals to master their jobs in a second language in ten to thirty days. It's quite phenomenal to watch and experience.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching foreign languages when a group of teachers wanted to gain their bilingual certification due to fear of layoffs. Bilingual teachers had much more job security during that time and these eight teachers wanted to gain that certification. After that it grew into the oil field and nurses.
What types of students have you worked with?
From third grade to 64 years old. And contrary to popular belief the 64 year old gained fluency a lot faster than the third grader. Age is not a barrier; only negative thoughts about age are barriers.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you just need to pass a class, hire a traditional tutor. They will squeeze you through that system so you can make the grade. If you genuinely want to unleash the power that fluency in another language can bring, get a coach. We coach, we don't tutor. It's
