I hold a degree in Spanish Language and Literature, and I’ve completed formal training in education with a focus on teaching Spanish as a second language. In addition to my academic background, I’ve participated in professional development courses related to online education, second language acquisition, and curriculum design.

I got started teaching Spanish by working as a Middle and High School Spanish and Literature teacher at an international school. It was an incredible experience that allowed me to teach students from diverse cultural backgrounds, and it really deepened my understanding of how language connects with identity and culture. During that time, I developed curriculum, led interactive lessons, and helped students not only master the language but also appreciate Hispanic literature and history. Eventually, I transitioned to teaching online to reach a wider audience — adults, travelers, professionals — and I’ve loved the flexibility and global connections that online teaching brings.

Professionals and Business Learners: Business skills, for meetings, negotiations, or expanding networks in Spanish-speaking markets. Heritage Learners: Speaking and comprehension skills, often focusing on cultural context and nuances. Exam Prep Students: Preparing for exams such as the DELE or AP Spanish, strategies and practice materials.

I was working with a group of adult learners from different parts of the world, and we had a discussion about cultural traditions in Spanish-speaking countries. What made it special was how naturally the conversation flowed — everyone was speaking entirely in Spanish, asking each other thoughtful questions, and even debating respectfully. Moments like that remind me how language connects people, and how fulfilling it is to see adults gain confidence and use Spanish in meaningful ways.
