About
Hi, Parents/Students
I'm Mrs. Morales, born and race in Puerto Rico and i would love to helping your child/yourself with Spanish/English. We are gonna focus on making the child or yourself comfortable and welcomed, that way they would find the class and language more approachable. I have an open inbox policy for anyone, if you have a concern or a question, dont hesitate! I have different methods of teaching and the interview mentioned below will help me round up which ones will be better suited for you/child!
I would be interviewing the prospect student and if its a minor their parents. The interview consist in a handful of question that will give me a clear vision on what to do, how to organize and how to ho about with the tutoring. Is very important that in this interview all of the points or goals are mentioned, transparency between teacher/student and teacher/parent should be on point and our most important relationship, with this interview we would discuss expectations, levels of knowledge, compromise, time management, organization. We all have to be in the same page, we are a team. Learning a language is challenging but we would get the necessary tools to make it as fun and diverse as I possibly can!
It will be an anbsolute pleasure to help you and guide you in this exciting journey! Doesn't matter the age is always great to learn something new ❤️ Thanks for reading me!
I enjoy being able to help first hand my students, I enjoy seeing them grow and be more confident and comfortable with the language and talking to people.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start with a little interview of them telling me their names, age, what are their hobbies and were are they from (sound familiar? Almost going back to regular school) this is just an exercise to help us get to know eachother and break the ice. When we are not face to face their can be a certain distance and i want to try and minimize it as much as possible.
Im here for you and because of you. We can go over one specific thing over and over, that why im here. This interview would help me how to make homework (each and every student is different with different learning patterns, so each one gets a personalized homework a certain time a week(depending on the schedule available with the students))
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was born and raise in Puerto Rico which's main language is Spanish.
Have tutor for the languange since i was 16, it was for extra credits in my curriculum and ended up just loving everything about it.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The pricing really depends on the level the student already is at the moment, frecuency and goal.
How did you get started teaching?
Like i said above, i started at High School as an extra curriculum just tutoring some of my friends in their test, then it snowballed to anyone that needed help in the language.
Thanks to this when I started college i was able to pay for my books because of my teaching job.
I find great happiness being able to give you the tools that will help you achieve your goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
From 3rd grade to senior students (60-80yrs old) 🧡
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I helped a 92yr old grandma be able to understand the language to the point of being able to give her grandkids and daughter in law birthday, graduation, etc cards 🧡 she tried and was dedicated and she got it.
This experience was one of my favorites.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be very patient, dont hire the first teacher that pops up with low price.
Go with one that will dedicate her time to you and will go to great lengths to help you achieve your goal.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Am i ready to compromise with a schedule? Am i able to be responsible?
