About
I have been a golf professional for over ten years. I have worked from high end private facilities to semi private resorts. I have taught beginners, college athletes and the younges female at age 12 Lucy Li to qualify for the US Open.
I goal of the make he golf swing fundamentally easy to swing. Basic swing thoughts to achieve the best results. I mode my teaching around students not stundents around my teaching.
I love the ability to take a student that is not maybe understanding the movement or swing thought and simplifying so they can understand it their way. Seeing that light go off in here head. I enjoy getting to know my students and what make them who they are.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to learn about my students goals. I ask the WHY.... Why are you playing. Why do you enjoy playing.. Once we have established goals we can move on to how we will acheive them. We will then build a schedule and action plan to move forward with. I will do follow up after each lesson to recap what we have covered. This helps each student so they dont feel they have to remember everying in a session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching for over 10 years. I have been privileged to work with some of the Jim McLean Teaching School Master Professionals. I have been involved with many teaching summits from Florida, Califionia and Texas. I continually research the latest in teaching aids and technology. I am SNAG certified (Starting New At Golf). This is a great method for beginners and juniors to gather a better understanding of how to understand this great game.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is usually determined with how many lessons and what the program is that is needed. It also is based on if it is a adult or junior for the pricing.
How did you get started teaching?
I first started teaching Jr programs when I was on the High School Golf Team. The Varsitiy coach would have 5 players come help teach clinics on Sundays at our home coures. Shortly after going to collage I started helping out with Jr and Ladies Clinics at a local Golf Club. After deciding to make golf my career in 2007. I decided to become PGA Certified and moved to Miami Fl where I started become well versed in as many teaching methods as I could find. I attribute most of my teaching to the Jim McLean Teaching Center at Doral. Over the last 10 years throught great Coaches and trial and error. I have developed my own fundimental teaching styles to best fit the student not the teacher.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with many juniors and a very speacial one you might have heard of. Lucy Li was the youngest amature to play in the Womans US Open at the age of eleven. I pride myself on being able to work with a number of high school students that have gone on to play Dl, Dll and Semi Pro. I enjoy teaching all skill sets and helping students understand what make a golf shot react.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Not so recent but something I am most proud of in my career is my involment with the Special Olympics for students that have Special Needs. The program grew from 12 Juniors in 2010 to 65 Juniors in 2013. On average, 5-10 juniors made it to the Florida State Competition each year. I have learned a lot from the students on a personal and professional level that has been most rewarding.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A instructor and a student need to be able to comunicate. Its not always about credentials and more about being comfortable with your instructor. Always feel free to ask as many question as you need to help you understand. THE INSTRUCTOR IS THERE FOR YOU...
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The student needs to understand what they want to get out of Golf? Do you want to break 90's, 80's, or make Golf Team? Student might just want excersize or for business? This is what Instructors call the "WHY" and helps give you a direction that your instructor can work with to develop a program for you.
