Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I evaluate their level and what their goals are. We then create an action plan and timetable to meet these goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a certificate in Spanish and over 10 years of teaching both English and Spanish to all ages.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Each class pricing is based on age, level and desired outcome.
How did you get started teaching?
The opportunity presented itself, I gave it a try and fell in love with it!
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, both in groups and 1-to-1.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It’s important to see eye-to-eye from the first conversation. Both the student and the teacher should feel comfortable with each other to some degree.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should evaluate if their goals are realistic, if learning languages comes easily to them or not, and if they have more or less time to study.
