About

McKenzie grew up in Temple, TX where she began playing golf at the age of four. After competing throughout her time at Temple High School, she went on to obtain a full scholarship to the University of North Texas. After two and a half years she decided to transfer to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. This is where she really achieved the highlights of her career. During her first year at UMHB, the team went on to win the second place spot in the NCAA DIII National Tournament.

Fleming closed out her collegiate career at Mary Hardin Baylor by becoming the first NCAA Division III Individual National Champion in school history. Fleming fired a four-day total of 301 to post a four-stroke victory at the 2015 NCAA Division III National Championship, which matched the school record for the lowest 72-hole total. McKenzie was also named to the Women's Golf Coaches Associations' All-American and All-West Region Teams. Fleming also won her second consecutive ASC individual title, which helped her take the ASC Women's Golfer of the Year honors for the second straight year.

During this impressive run, McKenzie set a new UMHB single-season record with six individual championships during the season and she also set a new school record stroke average. Fleming broke or tied 19 individual school records during her two year playing career for the Cru. Concluding her collegiate career, McKenzie was voted the 2014-2015 American Southwest Conference Female Athlete of the Year. This award is special in that it recognizes student athletes whose athletic accomplishments best contributed to their sport, their institutions overall athletic program, and to the conference.

Following McKenzie's' collegiate career she immediately turned professional. She qualified for Stage I of the LPGA tour school and went on to receive her Symetra tour status. After much time and deliberation, McKenzie has decided to pursue her career as a Teaching Professional. Her knowledge of the game and experience playing has allowed for growth in her love and passion of teaching others. McKenzie's main goals are to help others reach their own personal goals by teaching simple movements that are individualized to each player, and to allow others to experience the enjoyment of a game that lasts a lifetime.

McKenzie resides in Temple with her husband, Doak, and their dog Callie. Together they enjoy playing golf as much as they can. McKenzie is also the daughter of Jack and Jackie Ralston and has one sister, McKenna.
