About
I am a former mini tour golf professional now a teaching professional. I have been giving lessons and clinics for over 25 years, and was a standout jr golfer taught by some of the greatest teachers in the game such as David Leadbetter, Mitchel Spearman and Phil Ritson. I have taken all the best practices and tips from these greats and many others, not just in my game; but sharing with others and watching them grow.
Of course the greatest thing that I have learned is that it takes dedication and practice, practice, practice. I like my students to be as motivated as me and take what they learn and apply it in their practice. The only way to get better is to practice the right things over and over till they become natural. I can teach you those right things and help you apply them to your own game and natural swing.
I like to keep things fun and challenging, and I understand that learning new things are awkward; so I have the patience to get my students through and hope they do to.
I am interested in teaching people with a passion for the game and the desire and dedication to get better. If you are this person, then I am the teacher for you.
I love helping people imrove their golf game making it more enjoyable and fun. My favorite part about teaching is watching people get better through the technics I have learned and have been taught myself.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Everyone has their own learning curve and skill-sets. I try to work the basics into everyone I work with. A strong solid set-up and grip and proper alignment are the keys to success at any level. I work from the ground up, meaning footwork and balance is my ultimate objective when working with a new student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up as a student in the David Leadbetter academy learning under Mitch Spearman and later learned and taught under the late Phil Ritson. I have been credited in the PGA program and have taught hundreds of lesson all with 100% satisfactory results.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$60 for a 1hr lesson
$150 for a package of 3 1 hr lessons
$80 for couples 1 hr
$50 for Jrs. under 15 per 1 hr
How did you get started teaching?
I was a scratch golfer at the age of 15, and I started teaching then as I always had an eye for the golf swing, and how to fix them. Word caught on very quickly that I was the go-to "Swing Dr." and has stuck ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages all levels of skills.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my Jr golfers finally made the golf team, and the joy from her and her parents is what really makes me happy. Goes to show that working hard on the right things will take your game places.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that is going to motivate you to keep at it, work hard; and have fun along the way.
