What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Find out what they want to accomplish with golf. Put together a plan with the student that best fits their goals and time frame. Work the plan with the student. Instill a joy and passion for the game in each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Golf Academy of America Graduate and recepient of the Byron Nelson Award and the Capstone Achievement Award. Which are the two highest awards given to the graduating class.
1st Assistant Golf Professional at Oakmont Country Club. As well as lead instructor. I’ve been teaching athletes for 10 years but have specialized in Golf for the past 3 years.

How did you get started teaching?
My first official teaching began at Hackberry CC in Irving. It's something I have always gravitated towards. My background as a college baseball player. Which I followed with joining the Army. And later a professional baseball instructor. Have all taught me to collectively agree on a goal, and implement a plan that best suits the team. Which I have transferred to how I instruct currently.
One day I was standing on a Tee Box with my grandfather, father, brother and my little boy running around with his plastic club. I thought what other sport allows 4 generations to play together.
