About
I am an independent dance instructor who is very passionate about teaching all styles of partnering dancing and have been teaching Ballroom, Latin and Swing Dancing in the Dallas area since 1998. To me, the only rule of dancing is to have fun. I conduct both group and private dance lessons, plus I also choreograph wedding dances and showcases too. I see dancing as my life’s work and I enjoy sharing it with others.
I enjoy helping and inspiring prospective dance students achieve their personal dance goals and working one on one with them. I will do whatever I can to help them.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was introduced to ballroom dancing in 1998 by Jobea Bittenbender. She was the one that got me hooked on ballroom for life. Over the years I have also been periodically trained by Aimee Mendez, Randy Lynn and Christopher Ashley, to name a few.

How did you get started teaching?
When I was studying ballet, I was introduced to ballroom dancing by the mother of my ballet instructor. I was hooked from the start. Not only did it improve my skills as a dance partner (ballet), but it provided me with a career that I love and will allow me to dance for the rest of my life, long after I retire from ballet. Not only is ballroom great exercise and fun, but it fills my life with passion and purpose as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
There is a specific instructor for a specific student. If you love to dance but do not like your instructor's approach, then you will not learn and it will become a chore, instead of a fun experience. Take your time and find the right instructor that fills your wants and needs.
