About
I love to teach golf to golfers of all ages and abilities. My passion is to help grow the game of golf for generations of the future. I have been blessed to be able to play golf for 61 years, teach golf for 26 years, and to have played in professional golf tournaments for 30 years.
I have turned my passion into a complete study of golf. I have studied the teachings of Top 100 Coaches like Dave Pelz, Butch Harmon, Sean Foley, Steve Smith and Hank Haney. I have learned that keeping it simple and staying connected is best. Let me show you how!
I am a PGA Associate, certified by the United States Golf Teaching Federation, certified by Titleist and Callaway as a ball and club fitter. Knowing the characteristics of the golf ball and the fitting of the clubs allows me the flexibility to give you great advise with your swing as we improve your game. I want to see that smile and excitement when you hit a good shot, so I will use all my resources to help you make that happen. That is a guarantee.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know you. I want to know your goals, especially with your game. What do you want to accomplish?
I will work with your golf swing and adapt it to you. I will not try to restructure your swing and will show you ways to adapt your swing to good golf shots.
On the other hand, if you want to play like the Pros, I can and will teach you how. Time and patience to change your swing, and I have the time and patience. Do you?
Bottomline: I will do for you, what you want me to do.
I have been teaching for 26 years and know that you want to learn or get better at your golf game and have fun. I am committed to that thought.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching/coaching for 25 years. I am experienced with all ages.
I am a PGA Associate and certified to teach golf through the United States Golf Teaching Federation.
Beginner, novice, expert, and tournament players are no problem. I know what it takes to be playing tournaments. I played on 4 tours and have been the Club Champion 4 times. I also carry a +1.4 handicap at 65 years old.
I can help you improve or get tournament ready. I will dedicate myself to your goals.

How did you get started teaching?
I love the game of golf. It has given me a tremendous life. I started teaching to give others that same feeling. Golf is one of those games you can play for life. Why not enjoy it.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types.
Beginners to Tournament players. I coach to your needs.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you want to have fun or win the Club Championship, I will show you how. You wouldn't come to me for just a lesson. You have a goal in mind, and when you come to me, your goal is my goal and nothing else.
Let me show you how to have fun or win a tournament.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your goal is question #1. With out the goal, the instructor has no idea what direction to go in.
