I am a member of Thumbtack and have been voted a Top Pro with 5 star rating for the last five years. My fees are well under the market and I teach to a mission I plan  for each lesson not according to the elapse of time. I am a powerful listener and have keen observation skills along with an education and certification by the Texas Department of Education in Pedagogy (the art and science of teaching) which allows me to meet PGA standards. I offer both 3 and 5 lesson plans for $150 or $250 which is a $30 and $50 discount. I am a native of Dallas, Texas and proud of my community. To see my reviews, visit me on Thumbtack.com, I have 73 so far this year.

I am blessed with a passion for fitness, athletic skills, teaching, and golf. To  see a person new to the game of golf hit that first solid, high flying and straight shot is the greatest feeling in the world. The people you meet in golf have the greatest amount of integrity and pride. I love the outdoors and a golf course is like a walk in the park.

  • Sandra Brown

Straight forward direction with clear expectations taught with confident style.

  • Taylor Farman

Kenneth has helped me understand the game in a refreshing and unique way. His approach to teaching has allowed me to grow more in the past month than I thought I would in a year. If you don’t hire him, you’re missing out.

  • Kyle McCain

Kenneth has been a pleasure to work with. His patience and experience helped me solve a number of swing problems I spent 30 years developing. Highly recommended.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I normally work one on one, but on occassion  I teach couples when both are at the approximate same level of experience. I first determine what has inspired you to play golf, and then I map out lesson plans that establish fundamentals that will be the foundation for the swing and game we build.  I will assign drills to do between lessons to build muscle memory. When our progress warrants, we will do a lesson on the golf course to focus on course design, game management and the mental side of the game. Lessons are for 60 minutes except for the advanced students seeking a 90 minute assessment. I always confirm each lesson the night before and I believe in being on time for each and every lesson. After completing the drills, I ask the student text me with a report on the session. Each student will have a unique and personal style which is how they apply the scientific fundamentals of a good swing.
