I have 45 yrs. of golf experience. I played on golf scholarship at East Texas State University. I am an Entertainer, Mark Hamrick Productions LLC, with over 5000 shows under my belt. My lessons are filled with humor and bits of wisdom from my years of play making your experience well rounded and enjoyable.
Golf is my passion, I have been playing it since my youth and it has given me great joy (and frustration). It is very rewarding to be able to pass along my experiences to interested golfers of all ages and skill levels as my father did for me. I have no problem taking my work home with me and I am constantly in search of effective methods of teaching my students.
Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Beginning golfers will get fundamental instruction on grip, stance, and swing with drills designed to promote solid ball striking. Lessons will include instruction on full swing and short game. Advanced golfers will express areas they feel need improvement which will be addressed with video analysis. The student will be given drills to overcome these obstacles. Every golfer is different. It is my job to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative.
