I'm a young individual who will be giving parents the calm of mind knowing their kid(s) is(are) able to have someone who is dedicated to having one on one session with his/her school work. Not only being a tutor for your child but also a big brother. In today's world, we all need someone who will be able to steer us in the right direction, and I am here for you as the parent and your child.
Seeing the student become skilled within the subject. Knowing that I have implemented a new way of thinking and taking on the course, which they themselves may have never known was a possibility of doing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I'd like to get to know who they are. Focus everything around them learn a little maybe hearing about their background will give me a basic understanding of how we can go about learning. I want to apply their learning experience with how they are most comfortable. Once I have a general understanding of how they learn I will then focus on my time and focus to make sure I break it down to the best of my abilities in a way which they will be able to understand and help it stick with them long term.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a tutor in high school for English/reading/writing/ class. When I was doing that, I was helping my peers/classmates and I made them feel really comfortable with the fact that everyone knows how to read and write, but it's about how we read and write that makes the difference. Some of us don't feel comfortable reading out loud, and that is completely fine.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always wanted to be a English/Writing/Reading teacher, I always found it to be a fun and exciting subject. Maybe because growing up my mom would make me write stories during the summer, or force me to read books before going outside. The idea of becoming a teacher and having a long term impact is something I find that will be most exciting for me.
