I have been immensely blessed by having the violin in my life. I hope that my students can find great reward through playing, practicing, and performing on their instruments. I help my students discover and develop their own sound and use their own natural voice. I show them ways of using the voice that are new, adding on to what they already know, to make confident musicians who sing with ease and power. I love aiding in the discovery process and being a part of the journey of curiosity my students embark on to identify their own natural voice. Together we cultivate musical skills which uncover this hidden gem and transform it into an impressive instrument of expression....

In addition to learning to play the songs my student’s love, students are given training in sight reading, ear training, music theory as it relates to guitar. Songs are often picked apart to show students how they were built and how student’s can use this understanding in writing their own music. I consider myself very lucky to be able to make a living in a field that I love. I love teaching because I also consider myself a student of the craft.
