About this pro

Hi there! I’m Horse Enthusiast, Instructor and Trainer, Lisa Finnell, and I am fairly new to Utah. I was born in Erie, PA and at age 16 moved to Lincoln, NE. I was transferred here to Utah with my company as a Regional Manager and I fell in love with Utah especially the Sandy, Alpine and Cedar Hills area! I am extremely passionate and have been dedicated to horses my entire life. I have been riding since the age of 2 and I am an accomplished horsewoman with a reputation for hard work ethic for all of my teams of horses and riders. Not only have I maintained a 31 year successful career in Property Management as a CPM, I have volunteered over 20 years of my life as a coach, trainer and mentor of all age horses and riders of all disciplines. I have held an elected officer position on the board of directors for 15 years at a prominent Equestrian club in NE. The satisfaction I gain as a coach and mentor is seeing the best in every horse, every rider in every situation. I have not only held an officer position but have been an extremely active participant in competition in all disciplines. My daughter along with myself successfully competd in 55 shows per summer for 15 years I have extensive knowledge of operations, management, bylaws, 4H, judging, horsemanship, showmanship, equitation, endurance trail, ranch, roping, English, barrels, poles, speed events, play days, 5D barrels, breeding, training, bareback, pleasure, point systems, skijoring and packing out large game. I am excited for the opportunity to share my skills and I currently have four lesson horses that are all unique. I really look forward to meeting you and learning your goals with horses!

Thank you for your time!

Working with all age horses and riders fill my bucket! I love to see how quick a horse and rider connect and accomplish so much over a short period of time! My true passion and grateful to share it with anyone!!
