My name is Roland Kahn, and I'm a rising college freshman from Chevy Chase, Maryland. I have been playing the cello for 12 years, and have been highly involved in chamber music, orchestral, and solo playing. Some of the solo pieces I have studied include the Lalo Cello Concerto No. 1, Haydn Cello Concerto No.1, Bach’s Cello Suites 1-4, Saint-Saens Cello Concerto No.1, and various Popper etudes. I also play the piano, guitar, and ukulele. When not playing music, I enjoy swimming, ultimate frisbee, tennis, and building things.
