About
I've been a PGA professional since 1994 and have been helping golfers of all ages and skill levels ever since! I currently teach at 2 locations - Old Hickory Golf Club & my Home Studio. I also have the ability to bring indoor golf to any location and with my array of launch monitors, training aids and biomechanic diagnostic tools, I can basically set up a teaching studio anywhere!

How did you get started teaching?
Having been involved with golf my whole life and not having a lot of instruction as a junior golfer, this has lead to my continued pursuit of how the body works most efficiently through the golf swing!
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students of all ages and all levels of the game!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I always enjoy taking my amateur students to a Pro-Am to compete in a friendly environment. It's eye-opening for them when they get to see firsthand what it's like to find the fairways when you need them and grind out important putts to finish in the money. It's even better when our team wins!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It's all about communication and the ability of the instructor to put their client's mind at ease!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Goal setting, areas of improvement and keeping an open mind for change! Changes rarely feel comfortable the first few times you attempt to change, but if you stick with it and forget about the scorecard while you're making these changes, you'll come out a better golfer in the end!
