I have been taking piano lessons with Angela for about 8 years and I am now in 8th grade. Angela is an amazing piano teacher and has inspired me from the very first lesson to enjoy learning how to play the piano and to understand the world of music. She respects her students’ interests, such as what kind of music they are interested in playing, and encourages all of her students to accomplish their goals and to share their music with those around them. Angela’s piano lessons have not only helped me to become the pianist that I now am, but have also taught me to appreciate music. The lessons have allowed me to quickly learn how to play other instruments such as the ukulele and violin, due to having studied music in so much depth, to include theory and technique. Mr Christie is definitely one of the best teachers around, he tailors his courses to the student needs and he always encourages you to move forward. He does know how to transmit his knowledge to your level and I find that very important in the learning process.
