About
Hola,
I have been teaching Spanish since 1996, when I started my MA at the University of Washington. I received my MA in 1998 in the Spanish language and Spanish literature from all Spanish speaking countries. Spanish is my second language, but my Native Spanish speaking friends say that I speak with near native fluency. Since then, I have worked at two local colleges for 20 years. Since 2007, I have been working privately with students from all walks of life. I love teaching and I love the Spanish language. I especially enjoy sitting down one-on-one or in small groups and helping people become bilingual. A few examples of private student successes are a student whom I have worked with for 7 years. She started when she was 60, and now she is fluent! Two other students with whom I have worked for 5 years are also fluent. Their lives have been greatly enriched by becoming fluent in Spanish.I currently have 14 private students and teach two college classes. I look forward to hearing from you! Gracias 🙏 Becky
I love the Spanish language and I love teaching. When I see personal growth along with language acquisition, it is beautiful.
