I am a fun, passionate, university-educated pianist who brings enthusiasm and energy to every lesson I teach. I have made a career out of music because I believe it to be one of the best things in life, and I want to share that energy with you as you grow at the piano :) I have extensive experience working with both children and adults. Primarily, I teach in groups, but for adults and zoom students, classic one-on-one lessons are the best bet. I offer in person guitar, bass guitar and ukulele lessons at your home (including on base) or virtually! I have 26 years of experience teaching music and 31 years of playing. I offer a free first virtual lesson, so you can see if this is right for you before committing. I look forward to helping you on your musical journey!

I’m a full time performing musician for the last 30 years. I graduated with a degree in ethnomusicology from Indiana University. I love music from different cultures and backgrounds around the world. Music is my life and my passion. I’d like to share my love and knowledge of music and watch that engagement with music grow in other people.
