I really appreciate Emiko's patience and ability to motivate my children playing piano. Yes we all acknowledge that there has been some tough days time to time (especially during my kid's teenage periods), however, we all went through this exciting journey of piano performance with such a joy until my girl successfully enrolled to MIT. Ms. Lauri came highly recommended to me through a mom group that I am in. My son (he is 9 and in the highly capable program, but as high cap kids can be, is very particular about how he processes and learns things) was showing interest in learning to play the piano. Eliot Jones has developed a neat system for teaching music via Zoom. I have found learning ukelele to be a simple and fun once a week commitment that is good for the soul. Anyone would find Eliot to be a knowledgable, adaptive, and a perceptive teacher.
