Dennis first witnessed the transformative power of dance at the age of 19, after his parents were involved in a serious car accident. Following the accident, doctors said it would be a lengthy and exhaustive rehabilitation, but surprisingly it was ballroom dancing that became one of the primary therapeutic tools that allowed them to make a full recovery. After seeing the remarkable effects that ballroom dance had on his parents, Dennis had to experience the ballroom for himself. In just one year, he went from dancing as a student to teaching competitive ballroom dancers, and he hasn’t looked back since.
