Hi, my name is Robert Campos and I am the owner of West Coast Swing Dance Academy. Our classes are fun and very social. We are very patient and encouraging. You will have fun, laugh, and learn a lot! You will also become part of a huge tight-knit dance family and community.
I love seeing how dancing transforms and changes students lives! I love how It builds their confidence and self-esteem. Plus I get to meet lots of new and excited people who want to learn how to dance.

I have been training with Robert for a fairly long time on private lessons. He is no doubt one of the best instructors you will find on West Coast Swing. He understands both the lead and follows roles completely which gives him an excellent understanding of how to train, correct, and improve students dance. We are lucky to have an instructor like him in the Phoenix area.

My partner and my self took several private lessons from Robert Campos. We were greatly improved as a result. As far as I am concerned, Robert is the BEST ! He is patient and taught us some terrific moves.

My wife and I attend as many of Roberts group lessons as we can, and always learn something new, or how to do something better. We have taken private lessons with him before, and will be scheduling more soon. He works with leaders to make their lead clear and smooth, but also safer and more enjoyable for their followers.
When I get compliments on my lead, that is because of Roberts instruction, and I always try to give him credit. When I get compliments on my beard, that is all me, I take full credit for that.
Devorah has been a great addition to WCSA. I have already had one private lesson with her to get feedback on my lead from a womans perspective. I will also be scheduling additional private lessons with Devorah.
Take their group lessons, by all means. You will learn plenty. Want to start standing out from the crowd? Schedule some private sessions with either, or both of them!
