Rodger's Tennis Lessons

A brief description of my past experience in the tennis industry:

I have been a Head Coach at a D2 University in Carson, Ca. (both the men’s and women’s teams)

I have run multiple summer camps and acadamys for children ages 5-18 in L.A., San Diego, Ca; Acapulco and Rosarito, Mexico.

I’m a certified USPTA Elite Pro since 2001

I have coached high school tennis teams, again, both boys and girls teams in San Diego and Salinas, Ca.

I was a secondary school P.E. teacher in San Diego and Salinas, Ca

I ran a small 6 clay court facility and maintained the courts in Huntsville, Alabama

I have given private and group lessons to all ages for over 10 years

A brief playing history:

I played at a D1 university (Loyola Marymount Univ)

I have obtained an NTRP rating as high as 5.5 (currently at a 4.5)

I have been highly ranked in my age group in San Diego-#1 in doubles in the 40’s,45’s, 50’s, and usually in the top 3 in singles as well

My teaching philosophy is: keep it simple, keep it fun, and be adaptable.
