Howdy everyone. My name is Tanner, and it would make my day if I could help you learn something new, or help clarify anything in Biology or Tennis. I live for the a-ha! moments when a student finally understands, or can apply, something new. I have a passion for teaching, and working with students makes me happier than just about anything. Ok, Biology first. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2012. I was the leader of various study groups, and worked hand in hand with the professors to help convey the information to the students. I was a substitute teacher during college, and I taught students K-12. After college, I worked as a travelling tutor and focused mainly on Biology in my teachings. The subject matter ranged from elementary Botany to College level Cell Physiology. I loved the work. I have also worked in several clinical laboratories, and applied my education in the professional world. Biology and science in general is a real love to me, and I will bring that passion to any tutoring session. I played tennis competitively in High School, and College. I have been playing for over 10 years now. I have taught lessons since my Junior year of high school, but I have been teaching full time for 2 years now. I have several professional certifications from the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). I have worked with every age group from 6 years old to 90 years old. I have also worked with every skill level: from never touched a racquet, to college tennis player. I also string racquets regularly. I am very passionate about tennis, and would love to see you out on the court.
