What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Learning who they are. How do they learn, what is the best way to teach them, and what is there level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dancing for four years now and acting for three. I have danced in highschool, at a studio,and in A University. Acting I have done in highschool, and studio as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
By the hour. I charge 20 dollars per hour for the lesson, if you want me to choreograph something for you, which you can use later, it would be 100 dollars for it all.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching my Junior year of Highschool. My teacher started letting me teach her beginning classes, stretch, warm up, choreo, etc. which I enjoyed. Besides this, I taught outside of school doing Quinceneras, weddings, and flash mobs.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with people as young as 4 to about 50 years old. I have worked with people with special Needs as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be ready to be pushed to your limits. Nothing comes easy so you will have to work for it.
