FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When a tennis beginner starts learning to play tennis, they first need to learn basic forehand and backhand technique as these will allow them to play and enjoy the game.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching at tennis camps in college and then I trained my daughter and traveled with her to tournaments all over the world. Tennis is a technical sport, therefore working on mechanics and stoke production is my specialty.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with beginners, intermediate and advanced players. I also traveled on the pro circuit for 5 years coaching WTA and ATP players as well as NCAA Div I players.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

US Open

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I charge $50/hr if they come to Goodyear.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Depending on age and level of the player, I use a progressive method that is safe, effective and efficient.
