What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try to put the student at ease, assure them that with patience they will be successful ☺️
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master's in music education and performance...classical guitar and over30 years teaching experience in art and music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Guitar, Ukulele, banjo, bass:
1/2 hour $25, 45 minutes $35, hour $45
Art, drawing, painting, craft:
45 minutes $20, hour $25
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching since I was a student at the Willowdale Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada at the age of 15. I have tutored or taught every level from kindergarten to college and seniors.

All ages, all levels.

Sharing the joy of a young 7 year old Ukulele student who memorized her first solo with everything just right!!!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher who really teaches music/art technique, not just a "show me some songs", or "give me a project" type of teacher.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are their immediate goals and their long time goals as an artists or musician.
