Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During the first few lessons we will sample a few different dances. This helps determine which areas we will focus in order to get the most enjoyment out of each lesson. However, if the student has a dance in mind when coming in, we can always focus on that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an active competitor and have trained and credentialed with the top organizations. I have teaching credentials for International Ballroom and Latin and American Ballroom (aka Smooth) and Rhythm, as well as extenisve knowledge and training in Club style dances (Hustle, Salsa, Bachata, etc) and Argentine Tango.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, the pricing is $99 for a 45 minute lesson.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from ages 5 to 90. The students I've worked with range from competitive students, to social dancers to students looking for a special occasion such as a first dance or quinceanera.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We attended a competition in Vienna, Austria. This is where a lot of ballroom originated. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved to be able to dance ballroom in the location of its birth as well as be able to compete at the highest level against dancers from around the world.
