Music In Motion Dance Studio
About
I started taking dance lessons with my wife as an anniversary gift and we've never looked back. While taking lessons we both competed in both ballroom and country western dance competitions around the country with many first and second place finishes and finished 5th & 6th at the UCWDC World Finals for the 2019 season.
In 2018 we decided that we wanted to open our own studio on the west side of Tucson to share our passion with the community and get more people involved.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start each new student out with two 30 minute private sessions to get a feel of the dance types they are looking for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have weekly training sessions with our instructors and have guest instructors come in periodically for advanced training to keep us up to date.
How did you get started teaching?
The dance studio I used to take lessons at had closed down and there wasn't another facility in Tucson that had a full size dance floor. After retiring from my profession, I decided to open up my own studio.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have students that range from 6 to 85 years old and do our best to work around any limitations someone may have.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently choreographed dances and performed at a fundraiser for Eagles Wings of Grace.
