About this pro

I have over 20 years of theatre experience. I have a B.F.A. in acting and worked on an M.F.A. for directing. I am also a producer and playwright.

I produced the Bay One-Acts Festival for 3 years in San Francisco.

My play, Okinawa 1945, was produced in San Francisco, Hawaii and went to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.

Among the dozens of shows I directed, a few of my favorites include Equus, Dragonwings and History of Stone.

Alice was a specific and insightful director when I was a young actor taking on a challenging role. Her direction was specific and clear. She helped me find insight into the character and guided me to make strong and clear choices as an actor. She handled intimate onstage moments with a great combination of senstitivity and humor.

    Down to earth and tangible.

Alice is a very perceptive, fun, intelligent person to work with. She's good at guiding actors, but also helping them make their own discoveries.

  • Scott Munson

She is a wonderful listener and a great observer. She proposed interesting ideas and solutions that I normally wouldn't have thought of. She's a fun and energetic person to work with too. So you feel she is almost as much a friend and colleague as a "coach." Very highly recommended! If you get a chance to work with her, jump on it!
