Frequently asked questions

I always like to ask if the student has danced before, what type of dance it is if any, how long it has been going, and I like to ask them to show me a little bit what they know to give me a chance to quickly evaluate their level.

Not only I am a teacher in real life, every day, but I am dancer, or love to dance and share my passino/hobby with the world. I learned from many studios across the world: in Africa, in Canada, in New York, and here in Los Angeles.

Yes I do. Details are on my website at www.NohoSalsa.com

After been a teacher's assistant for a long while, and been good at it, students encouraged me to take over one particular class that became discontinued at the time. I took over and redesigned it to reflect what I believe a class should be like.

I work with all types of students willing to learn latin dances and Kizomba. Whether you have a two-legs feet or not I can pretty much get you started and excel.

I would say it would be wise to first take just an hour or two maximum with a new teacher to see if you are compatible, if you like his/her style of teaching. Is he really able to teach or is he just after your money?

The main reasons why most people decide to join dance classes are either they are looking for a new hobby or for networking. So a student might ask a question along these lines, to see if they will be able to get to meet people if for example they decide to take a class with the teacher.
