About
Founded in 2015, The Berkeley Turkish School serves the Berkeley, CA area and its surroundings. It operates as a nonpartisan platform that unites individuals and institutions of Turkish, Anatolian, and Levantine heritage. Their shared pursuits in arts, sciences, and humanities are collectively supported. The school has successfully organized numerous events such as International Children's Day Festivals, Republic Day Ceremonies, and parent seminars. Despite being a volunteer-based 501 (c) (3) nonprofit public charity, it continues to expand its services, including adult cultural classes, while temporarily pausing children's classes.
