About
I am knowledgable about what I am teaching. I am flexible to different learning styles. I think it is important to really see the artist and help them go in the direction they are going. My past acting students have gone on to have promising careers in acting and they are not just students, they are friends.
I am very passionate about the art and science of storytelling. Acting is the aspect of storytelling that involves advanced play. We all have what it takes to act, it is innate. However, there are many technological components that help us to engage in advanced play. My 10 years in acting and my MFA in acting give me the tools to share this craft with others. I love to see people learn and be set free by unlocking thier own genious. I hope you let me facilite those exciting discoveries.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process depends on the student and their needs. I am fortunate to have a lot of tools in my craft and the experience to know when to employ different tools. It has helped me to see what is blocking other actors from reaching a goal in their craft. Different people have different artistic blocks and comunication is an important part of removing those blocks so that the artist can unleash their own divine creative genious.

I have a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting

A Bachelor of Arts and Science in Theatre
I have also taken specialty classes and workshops with the best practicioners in the english speaking world.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?
I first started teaching in graduate school
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all backgrounds and experience levels. No matter how advanced you are or if you are just beginning, I can help you take it to the next level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was very fond of a show I recently played the lead in at Arizona Theatre Company. We got a standing ovation every night and closing night was very emotional and special for me.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say make sure you find a teacher who see's you, the human, the artist. In this work, if your teacher can't see understand you and where you are trying to go, then there will be a lot of comminication issues that can get in the way of progress in your craft.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Don't think too hard, just tell us what you want and go from there. Be brave, and dare to want big things from yourself so that your teacher shares those ambitions for you.
