About

As a working actor, voice actor and life coach, I work with my students to help them achieve their goals as performers and people.

We always start with a FREE 30 minute consultation so that we can get to know each other and decide if it is a good fit.

Here is a little more about me...

I love seeing my students realize that they can portray compelling characters that make an audience want to watch them. To see this transformation while they are gaining skill and knowledge is what fuels me. Plus, I love hearing all the good news when they get cast for a role too!

As a classically trained actor with a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting, my training has taught me skills and techniques in acting for the stage, camera and microphone. Because of my training and because I speak 4 languages, I can also coach in accent/dialect work and in accent reduction/attainment. Additionally, I am also a trained life coach and that helps me further help my coaching clients by not only assisting them in developing new skills in their acting a voice work, but also by creating a new relationship with their beliefs about themselves as actors, voice actors and performers. Skill, beliefs and action are the three keys we work on to help each client achieve their goals.

I enjoy helping others succeed in turning their dreams into reality. Therefore, I help my clients not only work on the skill of the craft of acting and voice acting, but also the mindset which will support them and their performance.

Artistry is a path fraught with both inspiration and obstacles. The journey to becoming a successful artist often demands more than just talent; it requires mentorship, guidance, and the nurturing of ones creative flame.
In my quest for such support, I discovered Kathleen. From the moment I had my first session, it was evident that she is not just a mentor but an artist herself. Her industry experience and passion for her craft shone through in every lesson. She was not merely instructing; she was guiding me towards discovering the depths of my own abilities.
One of the most striking aspects of Kathleen is her tailored approach. Each session was customized to address my specific needs and goals. Whether I was aiming to improve my on-screen presence or refine my vocal techniques, the coach created a personalized roadmap to success. This level of individualized attention is a testament to her commitment to the growth of her students.
The feedback and constructive criticism I received were invaluable. Kathleen provided insights and techniques that I hadnt encountered during my time in the industry. Whats more, she fostered an environment where I felt comfortable taking risks and pushing my boundaries. This approach pushed me to new heights in my performances, and I saw noticeable improvements in my auditions and projects.
Kathleen coached in various aspects of acting and voice acting, from script analysis and character development to vocal modulation and accent training. Their expertise encompassed theater, film, and voice-over, making this coaching suitable for actors of all backgrounds and preferences.
Moreover, the flexibility of scheduling and the option for online sessions made it convenient for me to access these world-class coaching services, irrespective of my location or busy work schedule. Its evident that Kathleen is dedicated to making her coaching accessible to artists worldwide.
I highly recommend Kathleen to actors and voice actors at all stages of their careers. Whether youre just starting out or looking to refine your skills, Kathleen will undoubtedly be a beacon of light in your artistic journey.

First, we get to have a conversation to really understand where you are in your acting journey, what your short and long term goals are and what you are currently doing to achieve those goals. Then we will begin the process of working on the skills you need to polish to get you close to meeting your goals. You will have work to do on your own to prepare for each lesson or coaching session. I have been teaching acting to students of all ages since 2004. I have worked with children and adults in academic settings as well as group and one on one coaching.

All ages from kingdergarten to adults. I have worked with individuals who wanted to work on accent reduction or learning new accents, on camera and stage as well as improvisation and voice over.

Some recent events: I won an IPPY Award for an audiobook I was a narrator for. The book is called Corona City: Voices from an Epicenter. Check it out! If you like audio dramas, you can look up Prestige the podcast. My character, Madame Antoinette Perdue, first shows up in episode 3 and can be listened to anywhere you listen to podcasts.
Make sure you are hiring someone who is a current working professional and make sure they have the education to back up what they are teaching you.
