About

I take a very personal, individual approach with actors. This is not a formula, one size fits all, way to work. My work is about partnering with actors to achieve both their artistic and creative goals in their work and their career goals in the business. I have been a teacher and a coach for over 20 years, there's nothing better than watching someone blossom into the actor they've always known they could be. I teach actors how to do their work their way. They leave me feeling confident and self-sufficient.

I love acting -- I love everything about it. And I love supporting actors in acheiving their dreams.

    Frequently asked questions

I have a conversation with them and see where they are in their craft and their career and what they are looking for.  They come and audit.  Then if they decide to jump onto a class or work with me privately, we pick material and begin our work together.  My work is so determined by the student, so there isn't one way I work with everyone.

I attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and then went on to study with many different teachers and techniques.  But in all honesty, it was my own journey as an actress and my search for what acting really was and how to be satisfied in my craft and successful in the business that led me to where I am now.  I am incredibly intuitive and can "see" what is holding someone back from where they want to go.  I also have an ability to communicate that effectively.

My classes are $275 a month and privates are $150 for an hour and $90 for a half.

Trust your instincts.  Not every teacher is right for everyone.  A class/teacher should never make you feel bad about yourself or your work.  Find a place/a teacher that understands you and where you want to go and can support your learning and your journey in a positive way.  You should leave class or a session feeling good and confident -- and like you know what you're doing.  You shouldn't feel like you always "need" your coach or teacher.  They should be teaching you to know what you're doing without them.
