How did you get started teaching?
People much smarter than me say that teaching a craft deepens your own understanding of it, so since high school I have been involved with teaching acting. At first I volunteered to teach kids acting after school, then I was a counselor at a kids performing arts camp. In the 14 years since then my knowledge and experience have grown, my passion for acting has deepened, and so has my passion for teaching.

I have worked with a wide range of actors. Men, Women, Teens, and kids.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Meryl Streep's Cecil B. Demille award acceptance speech, at the 2017 Golden Globes. "Take your broken heart, and make it into art."

Find some one you can talk to, and connect with. Clear communication in essential to acting training.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Have a solid idea of where you want to go, and what your goals are. What kind of actor do I want to become?
