About
We offer 5 different on-going classes that range from beginning/intermediate to our Master classes. We cover improv, cold-reading, scene study, character development and audition technique. Will Wallace is also a working Indy director/Producer so he has a unique insight to share with his students, and Sara Wallace is a working Casting Director, so she too has a lot of offer.
Will and Sara both started their careers as actors and eventually moved into the production side of the biz. Having that background we are passionate about seeing our students grow and succeed. We love to challenge our students while still providing a supportive environment for them to work. Both Will and Sara also teach at the SAG Conservatory and coach workshops in many cities around the country. Will is also involved in numerous film festivals across the state.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Generally our new students will start in our beginning or intermediate class for at least a month so we can become familiar with their work. New students will jump right into the same routine as the rest of the class. All of our students always work every class. A typical month may be doing cold-reading scenes week one, receiving new scenes week two and working on them for two weeks ( doing scene work and character development), and then we might do audition technique week 4. We always begin class with improv drills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sara Wallace has her bachelors degree in Theater and is a working Casting director. Will Wallace has been working in this business for 20 years and has been teaching for about a decade. He studied in New York prior to making his move to LA. In addition to being a film-maker himself he's played roles in multiple Academy Award winning and nominated films, alongside the elite actors and filmmakers. Some of these films include: "The Thin Red Line", "I Am Sam", "Tree of Life", & "The New World".

How did you get started teaching?
We both love actors and we respect their process. Now that we work on the other side of the camera we enjoy passing along the knowlegde we've gained.
What types of students have you worked with?
We've worked with students of all backgrounds and talent levels. Will is fluent in Spanish so we've had ESL students on multiple occasions. We generally accept students high school age and up in our classes, but we've made exceptions on multiple occasions and had younger students train with the classes at times. We've worked with students who are brand new to acting up to Juilliard trained and professional working actors.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I think it is so important to have a positive working relationship with your coach. Choosing a coach, manager, agent, is so important because these are the people helping to shape your career. You want to be sure that these people are working for you so you can grow as an actor, and supporting you on this journey.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I feel that communication is very important.
