Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we meet and discuss the dancer's goals, interests, strengths and areas for improvement. After a full observation, I understand their learning style and we create a program, or as I like to call it thier "Pathway." Depending on thier Pathway, dancers meet with me in person or virtually for weekly lessons. Performances and competitions are optional.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Dance from Hunter College in New York City, along with years of industry experience. I was a competitive dancer from the age of 12 and became a professional at 19, training closesly under celebrity choreographers. In 2017 I began working closely with recording artists as a choreographer's assistant. Since 2014, I have been training dancers ranging from ages 2-18, many of whom have gone to win national titles.
