What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first find out what your dance goals are; exercise, getting ready for an event like a party or wedding, meeting and socializing with others, or as a long term hobby. Then we personalize lessons to match your goals and teach the dances you want to focus on. We teach at your pace so we work as slow or fast depending on ability and retention levels.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have ballroom and Latin dance instruction experience since 2000 and have been independent business owners since 2005. We are retired professional rhythm dancers and have had many coaching lessons ourselves with the best in the industry.

How did you get started teaching?
We started dancing professionally and have used teaching to help support our dancing career. We are now retired professionally, but continue to teach beginners to advanced competitive students.

beginning, intermediate, and advanced competitive students. We teach students who want to learn a wedding first dance, to learn how to social dance and socialize with others, and those who do pro-am competitions.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We teach and compete with our pro-am students in multiple events throughout the year. Both studio showcase events and dance competitions.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who understands your goals and who can teach really well. The content is one thing, but the timing and how to deliver concepts so that you understand the material fully is an art.
