About

We offer both private and group clinics, currently we have 5 group clinics a week. I am also in my early 20's, the energy myself and my coworker bring to the table is unmatched as far as from what I've seen at other academies and private lessons which makes tennis revitalizing and novel even for those who have been playing for a while. I myself have been teaching tennis for 7 years, helping students make it on to their high school and middle school tennis teams as well as improving rankings in USTA for both adult and youth competitive players.

To me the most satisfying feeling in my work is when a student and I work together to break through some sort of difficulty they were having, and getting to a point where the student is confident about the stroke or movement that was difficult before.

    Frequently asked questions

When first starting with a student they will either have something they want to work on or are looking for me to find the flaws in their game. The first lesson usually I will look through all of the different parts of your game you either have or haven't developed i.e. serve, volley, forehand, overheads, backhands, approach shots etc. and see which needs the most work.

I have been playing tennis for about 15 years, I have competed at top levels in the state reaching 11th in California, played 2 singles throughout High School, and have coached for 7 years teaching beginners and USTA players up to a 5.5 rating. I have played at the best academies in the bay area, as well as being on the National Singapore Practice Team in 2015.

Yes, I have a document listing all pricing, lessons are available in packages for both clinics and privates. My starting charge is $100/hour and the coach I work with starts at $70/hour. The clinic drop-in rate is $40/2 hours

I threw up an ad on craigslist, and from my first lesson really enjoyed it so I continued on working in this field :)

I have worked with beginners, and advanced players amongst all ages. It is very important for me to understand what students are looking for out of a practice, as a beginner would typically want something less intense and fun to get in to the sport. While a competitive player could be looking for that intensity from the get go.
