About
If you’re looking to build a career in TV and film, I can guide you with decades of hands-on industry experience. I earned my SAG/AFTRA card in 1984 and have since worked on over 1,000 television and film projects, plus more than 300 commercials.
I share the real inside knowledge students need: how to get booked, what tools are essential, and insider tips and leads that can fast-track your career.
As an Adjunct University Professor for six years, and with 15 years of teaching at entertainment schools in both California and New York City, I’ve had the privilege of helping students launch successful careers in television, film, and commercials.
I offer specialized classes in proven on-camera techniques:
Screen Acting (TV/Film Acting)
Acting in TV Commercials – because commercial acting requires a very different approach than stage or screen.
Cold Reading & Audition Skills – a proven technique recognized by casting directors that helps you approach cold reads with confidence and professionalism.
I am a background-checked, union actor, career guidance counselor, and experienced educator. My passion is helping people achieve their dreams, build confidence, and showcase their unique gifts and talents—while saving them years of trial and error. My students gain direct access to the right tools, techniques, and connections that open doors in the entertainment industry.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically I request to speak to a new student on the phone first to determine their goals. By speaking to the student and learning more about them, I can determine what classes best suit their needs, and the amount of class time required.
Once we discuss classes, scheduling and tuition, payment is made through my website, www.studiogfacting.com using PayPal. Payments may also be made through Zelle, or Cash App.
A receipt for payment is sent to the student, and classes will be coordinated and scheduled.
A 24 hour courtesy notice is kindly requested beforehand if you need to reschedule a class.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lee Strasberg Acting Institute, The Actor's Studio NYC, NY, HB Studios, NYC, NY., Dale Carnegie Institute, and have worked on approximately 600 TV, film, and commercial projects.

Since each class is structured differently, according to the students needs and schedule...the tuition will vary, depending on the hours of class required.
How did you get started teaching?
I won a full tuition for an acting and modeling course by winning a local Miss America preliminary scholarshp pageant at 17, performing a scene from Neil Simon's "Chapter Two". I was later asked to teach at the school shortly after completing the program and attending college.
While working as a union actor in NYC, I also taught acting and modeling classes part time at Mirror Models and Talent in Great Neck NY.
Upon moving to CA. in 1991, I continued to teach modeling and acting classes P/T in Orange County, CA. while also continuiing my acting career.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of students throughout the years. Some want to focus on TV and Film, while some simply want to prepare for entry into a school for the arts, perform in local stage productions, or a specific auditon.
Fortune 500 companies have also hired me to train their employees in the areas of personal development, presentation and communication skills.
My students are from all types of diverse backgrounds. Some were home schooled in the midwest, some are from the inner city, while yet others are immersed as professionals in corporate America or the entertainment or fashion industry. I've lived globally in major cities as well as in suburbs, so I tend to have an accepting and positive approach towards my students and their circumstances socioeconomic backgrounds, and desired future goals. My aim is to teach, inspire, motivate and correctly guide my students to success!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To make sure the teacher has a sold background in the industry and that they know what theyr'e talking about.
