Mr. Trevor Sands, world renounced Pro tennis instructor and head coach has joined the staff at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, CA.
Trevor, as he likes to be called, began his life in tennis at the very young age of 8. He volunteers as a trainer with Los Angeles inner-city children.
Trevor says “I believe in tennis for young and old. It’s an international language and a sport you can do your entire life.”
Sands, 17 years tennis director in Beverly Hills Country Club, created game pairing, attack court and challenge court to optimize playing time for members with limited court availability and got the solutions from analyzing and finding each member needs . He received a scholarship to the Deerfield Tennis Academy in Spring Field, MA. He is a native of the Bahamas and continues to give back to his homeland by volunteering and organizing tournaments.
Trevor’s Philosophies are following - Don’t confuse self with mechanical details during a match. Pay attention (relaxed concentration) on watching the ball. Tennis reveals personal character and Play accordingly.
Trevor, USPTA certified, is here to teach and rank members at various levels of tennis. He looks forward to meeting you and your families.
